Letter From The Editor: Cheers to The New Year

Happy New Year!

2020 was a doozy, to say the least, as we navigated a global pandemic, political unrest, a social and moral reckoning, and, closer to home, a massive earthquake and hurricane-force winds that literally rocked our world. 

But with total upheaval came necessary change and fresh awareness, a slower pace of living, deeper gratitude for our dearest friends, loved ones, and the places we call home, and a renewed appreciation for travel and the beauty and sanctity of the great outdoors.

Let’s raise a glass to the lessons we learned in 2020 and toast to brave new beginnings in 2021. Thank you for being part of the H&D community and for following along. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and hopeful year ahead!
