We could all use a little lighthearted humor and some serious girl talk at the moment, and this month’s book provides both: “I Feel Bad About My Neck: And Other Thoughts On Being A Woman” by the late, great Nora Ephron. If you love the movies “You’ve Got Mail,” "When Harry Met Sally," and “Julie & Julia” you’ll love this book—Ephron was the award-winning screenwriter of all three films. Ephron is witty, charming, and hilarious—you'll fall in love with her after the first few pages.

The book was originally published in 2006, but this new edition features a forward by equally lovable Dolly Alderton, fellow author, journalist, and co-host of The High Low podcast (one of our favorite weekly listens). This is a short and sweet read, but it’s full of funny and relatable anecdotes and observations about womanhood, from the perils of purses to the many hours spent moisturizing over a lifetime. It would be such a fun book to read with your mom or gift her for Mother’s Day! We can’t wait to hear your favorite snippets from the book, and your own thoughts on being a woman.

Join us at the end of the month for a virtual book club on Instagram Live to chat about the book! Stay tuned to our Instagram for more details. We hope to see you there!
