A Tale of Two Cafes in Paris: La Maison Sauvage & L’Atlas

Of all the charming cafes in Paris, this lively corner spot spilling out onto Rue de Buci is one of our most beloved: La Maison Sauvage. Tucked along our favorite little street in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, we love seeing the cafe's signature, exuberant foliage change with each season. Go for breakfast and brunch and try the classic omelette, avocado toast with feta, the quinoa and rice bowls, or the brioche perdue (an indulgent take on traditional French toast).

Just neighboring Maison Sauvage, also perched on Rue de Buci, is L’Atlas, another of our most beloved Parisian cafes. Get a table on the terrace on Friday or Saturday night when the street is bustling with locals and tourists alike. Go for the exquisite Moules Frites, and stay for the excellent people watching.
