How to Support Small & Local Businesses Right Now

On any given weekend, we love to sleep late, go to brunch, and peruse our favorite local shops. But considering our current quarantine status, even window shopping is now a thing of the past. In this time of great need and uncertainty, now more than ever it’s more important to support our communities and to show up for small, local businesses in whatever ways we can. Consider the following ways to help:

  • Buy locally whenever possible

  • Shop online

  • Place an order via curbside pick-up or a delivery app

  • Purchase a gift card for future use

  • Donate to an employee fund

  • Check to see if local studios are offering virtual classes or workshops

Saving your pennies and not in a position to shop? There are plenty of ways to lend your support that won’t cost you a dime. Check out our list of ways to support small businesses for free.

Below, get the scoop on how you can shop and support some of our favorite brick-and-mortar shops and small businesses in Salt Lake City and Park City (listed in alphabetical order). Because let’s be honest: we could all use a serious dose of retail therapy right about now.
